Form Use

This automated form is intended to be used by vendors who have contracts with the US Navy and are ready to ship the merchandise on the contract.

By completing this form on-line, the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapons System Support (WSS), Norfolk, VA will receive an email of your request immediately and will act on it as soon as possible during their normal working hours of 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern time Monday through Friday.

Customs

The requirements imposed by ITAR ss126.4 are satisfied for this FOB Origin shipment if express transportation is arranged:

Upon passage of title at the point of origin the shipment in question becomes and remains the property of the US Government.
The ultimate end user is an agency of the US Government (Dept. of Defense).
The shipment will not be entered into any commercial market and will remain for the exclusive use of the US Government.
The carrier is operating under contract to the US Government. Transportation under this contract has been determined to be part of the Defense Transportation System (DTS).
The US Government will submit an electronic Shippers Export Declaration (SED) as required by ITAR ss123.22.
The shipment comprises support to operational requirements and has been determined to require time sensitive premium transportation. The US Naval Service, as owner and shipper, claims exemption under ITAR ss126.4C to requirement for export license due to the time sensitive necessity for delivery to the designated recipient. It is neither practical nor feasible to secure such licenses in time sensitive support to operational requirements.
